Abstract.

Aim of this work is to determine specific changes of the miners’ work factors while they perform various technological operations in conditions close to the mine. Research methods included biomechanical methods and field observations with fixing parameters with the help of specialized standard devices; the study results were processed with the help of the up-to-date computer systems and methods of mathematical statistics. It is stated that when a respirator is used by young workers when they load the rock mass a volume of the work done is reduced by 16%  and intensity of the energy inputs is reduced by 27%; when skilled workers use respirator while loading the rock mass a volume of work done increased by 10% and intensity of the energy input is reduced by 11%. On average, a young worker wastes less energy than a skilled worker while performing all working operations. It should also be noted that the average energy inputs while performing operations without respiratory exceeds an average energy input when the respirators are used, though with an exception of cases for both by skilled and young workers when they are walking down the steps carrying a cargo .

Keywords:
