Abstract.

The article presents results of how changed structure of the rocks and sequence of chamber reserves mining impact on rate of the ore dilution when a horizon is mined with consolidating stowing. Impact of the ore deposit specific contact with filling mass is considered depending on sequence of stoping chambers mining.

It is stated that ore dilution by footwall rocks in the stoping chambers is less intensive if compare with chambers in the sidewall. Ore dilution in the footwall of the first-stage mining is twice less than in chambers of the sidewall. However, when chamber length increases by twice, dilution by the sidewall rocks increase by more than triple.

Dependence of dilution value of extracted ore on physical and mechanical characteristics of the rock massif in area contacting with stoping chamber is presented.

Keywords.

Dilution, rock hardness, area of rock outcrop, footwall and sidewall rocks, filling hardness.
