Abstract.

The paper considers problem of mining and geological conditions effecting methane redistribution within undermined coal-rock massif as well as determining rules for of technogeneous methane reserve accumulation depending on the coal-bearing strata geologic structure. Research results help to specify that increase of methane technogeneous reserve accumulation from south-west to north-east in the undermined coal-rock massif is typical for Donetsk-Makiivka district in Donbas. It is determined that increase of stratification depth in north-east sandstones is basic reason for increase of methane technogeneous reserve accumulation; as for the coal riders, it is increase of their quantity and thickness in the north-east direction.
