Abstract. The following features of the reconfigurable mine ventilation systems are considered: topological changes in space, uneven feed of air into ventilation objects, substantial uncertainty of aerodynamic parameters of elements. It is proposed to use a cluster design and method of site-to-site difference for the ventilation systems which include branches with different-power laws of air motion. It is further proposed to adapt these methods for calculating reconfigurable ventilation  systems which include sources and routs of methane emission both to the mine atmosphere and on an earth surface, and to use parallel calculations for computing air distribution with different-power laws of air motion and specified pressures in different points of the network. Ipso facto, methane emission from the goafs can be diminished thanks to a formed area of «nought depression» .

Keywords:

reconfigurable mine ventilation network, air distribution, methods of site-to-site difference, different-power laws of air motion, methane emission.
