Abstract. Comparison was carried out on the amplitude and duration of the electric signal from the displacement of membrane pressure sensor. Displacement of membrane happens in two ways: by a blow of a falling body and by water fluctuations. It is shown that the duration of the impact impulse is longer than cavitation impulse. Density of energy input through array contact surface unit for cavitation oscillations is in 7 times less than for the MO5PM rock breakers.

Keywords: impact energy, hydraulic impulse, amplitude, frequency, electrical signal, rock breaker, hydrobreaking
