Abstract.

We consider the technique of determining the rheological properties of rubbers, including: selection of rubber stamps; definition of the quasi-static characteristics of rubber samples; determining the dynamic characteristics of the samples. We also consider two methods for determining the rheological properties of the rubber elements: the first method is based on the use of the relaxation peak in the frequency dependence of the absorption coefficient of the material; the second method uses the parameters of the hysteresis loop recorded by changes in a wide range of loading. It is shown that for the rubber used for the production of load-bearing elements, the most appropriate is a four-parametric fraction-exponential function of Rabotnov; b-method should be used when rubber is filled with more than 65 parts by weight of rubber carbon black.

Keywords:

rubber, rheology, Rabotnov’s kernel, elastic potential
