IMPROVING SAFETY OF TRANSPORTATION, EXTRACTION AND UTILIZATION OF METHANE OF SURFACE DECONTAMINATING WELLS

 Abstract. The article describes about fundamental research and technical solutions to use one of the most promising energy sources - coal mine methane, which is also a source of constant danger in mines and one of the major pollutants of the environment. Tested results of the intensification extraction of methane from coal deposits by surface wells are analyzed. The technology of pneumohydrodynamic well treatment at not undermining array and new method of determining permissible zone of explosion safety methane-air mixtures in the degassing pipes are proposed. The developed technical solutions that increase energy efficiency and safety of operation of transportation and utilization of degassing system. These studies are based on the example of "Zasyadko Mine" and other experiments the authors.
