Abstract.

We consider stress-strain state determination method for a rubber collar-type packer. The presence of large displacements and deformations while using constructions made of elastomers requires taking into account the geometric nonlinearity. Nonlinear problem is reduced to a sequence of solutions of the linear problem by using stepper iterative algorithms. Finite elements approach of three-dimensional problem is proposed taking geometric nonlinearity into account. The approach is in sequential solving a number of linear problems with conversion at each step of the stiffness matrix of the whole structure. An example is adduced of the numerical solution of the problem of deformation of the elastomer collar in three-dimensional statement. Components of the stress-strain state of a rubber collar-type packer are obtained as a result of solving the problem taking into account large deformations occurring during a pressurization capacity test of oil and gas wells.
