RESEARCH OF INTERDEPENDENCE BETWEEN METHODS OF CONCRETE RIB-SIDE TRACK BUILDING AND THE TRACK STRENGTH AND DEFORMATION PARAMETERS

Abstract.

Modeling in laboratory conditions with preserving the material properties has defined (i) a mechanism of concrete solid and packed rib-side track deformation at different loads, and (ii) dependences of the track ultimate and retained strength on duration of the mixture hardening, geometric dimensions of the track and its relative shrinkage. The findings, after having measured loads on the cover track in the mines or having calculated them by analytical way, can specify value of the cover track shrinkage, evaluate height and rate of segregation of undermined roof  in the coal seam and, finally, determine rational parameters of different types of concrete tracks under various mining, geological and technical conditions.
