IMPACT OF AIR-MIXTURE CHARACTERISTICS ON TECHNOLOGICAL PARAME-TERS OF PNEUMATIC TRANSPORTATION BY STOWAGE PLANTS OF THE EJEC-TOR TYPE

Abstract:

The paper presents new dependencies in calculations of parameters for the rock pneumatic transporting by stowage plants of the ejector type. Theoretical part of the study focused on peculiar interactions between the air mixture flows in mixing zone of the annular ejector. Dependencies of basic technological parameters of pneumatic transport on characteristics of the air mixture are stated for the plants of ejector type. Findings on impact of the rock properties on technological parameters of the rock pneumatic transporting by stowage plants with annular ejectors are presented. The article also presents a new method for describing the air mixture flowing in the pneumatic stowage plant with annular ejector. The method is based on the use of three factors: integral coefficient of resistance, coefficient of energy dissipation in compressed air flow and degree of this flow expansion. The findings can be used for calculating and designing pneumatic stowage plants with annular ejector for different mining technologies.
