Abstract. Purpose of these researches is to establish regularities of moisture separation in various by configuration screening surfaces of dynamically active band screens (DABS) and to specify rational and technological parameters for dewatering facilities which use gravitational and centrifugal forces.

To realize the planned program, a special sievebend screen was created and mounted on the test bench. The screen was equipped with effective slotted sieves of the DABS type, which were characterized by high wear resistance and absence of the cell clogging. The authors present results of their experiments in the course of which they estimated potential of the DABS elastic screening elements to provide highly effective liquid phase separation from the pulp-like mixture.

On the base of these experimental researches, constructive and  technological parameters were specified, which can impact on the process of liquid phase separation from the pulp-like mixtures. In the course of the researches, the sievebend screen of the “Perekat” (“Roll”) type installed on the test bench was used at constant feeding of the material. The rubber dynamically active band screens DABS were used as screening surfaces.

Keywords: dehydration of coal concentrate, dynamically active rubber screens, screen.
