Abstract.
The purpose of research is to analyze the experience of application at Donbass mines of brick-assembly supporting and sealing wall of quick-hardening concrete blend Tekhard. It used to support face-end to find solutions on roadway re-usage in deep mining. The results showed the application effectiveness of stiff concrete walls to support face-end, as well as to isolate the gob of fresh intake air in order to prevent coal spontaneous combustion and improve the ventilation of the mining district. Proven ability of roadway re-usage with the help of combined support, including arches, rockbolts and stiff concrete wall. Justified the neccesity of additional researchments to test the rational parameters of the stiff concrete wall, depending on the ratio of the strength characteristics of the coal seam floor and roof. Seeking the possibility of using the concrete wall in the presence of weak floor, with its additional reinforcement.
Key words: support wall, roadway re-usege.
