Abstract. The tasks are formulated for studying the tubular belt dynamics in two basic groups of belt tubular conveyers (BTC). It is noted that torsional vibrations present a key danger for the first group of the BTC, in which flat belt is rolled up into a tube by special roller carriages. Factors causing the tubular belt torsional vibrations are analyzed. Maximal angle of the belt turn due to the suddenly attached moment is evaluated. For the second group of the BTC, in which belt is hanged on the travelling rollers moving alongthe hanging rail, the danger is caused by transversal vibrations of the hanging rails being under action of the moving loads. Possible loss of tubular belt stability in the second group of the BTC is considered. The formulas are established for critical speeds of tubular belt motion, achieving of which can result in considerable growth of the belt transversal vibrations.
Keywords: belt tubular conveyer, the belt transversal and torsional vibrations, critical speed, stability of motion.
