Abstract. Groundwater mode is formed and varies depending on several factors, and its para-meters differ in natural, technogeneous and impaired environment. In this article, key factors, which directly affect the groundwater regime and water balance of territories in the regions disturbed by mining operations, are identified and systematized by groups. A mathematical model was developed for determining water balance in territories disturbed by mining operations and in technogeneous environments. The model takes into account the natural hydrological and hydrogeological conditions of the territory, the parameters (depth and in plane) of impaired and technogeneous massifs, the location of disturbed environment and direction of geo-logical environment further disturbance relatively to the watercourses lines. The findings can be used for controlling state of natural environment in the mining regions, in further researches of the problem of availability of technogeneous massifs.
