Abstract. The development of gassy seams in mines with high methane-bearing capacity of seam is mitigated by the release of methane into the mine workings. A number of measures have been developed to reduce of gas emissions into mine workings. This article discusses the methodology for developing a section of emergency response measures for the degassing project based on the example of the working area of the 128th lava of the C6 seam of the “Yubileinaya” mine in the “MM Pershotravensky” “DFEC Pavlogradugol”. A set of measures for the implementation of emergency protection at the working area is presented. Measures have been developed for the management of the degassing system at the mine during fires, as well as the degassing regimes for the 128th lava of the C6 seam during extinguishing of fires.
