Abstract. In the article, the author poses and solves a problem of modeling defects of buntons in the shaft equipment with box guides. Results of surveys showed typical kinds of defects in the buntons at their long-term operation in conditions of aggressive mine environment. With the help of solid-modeling method in the SolidWorks-Simulation system, the author investigated effect of vertical double-T section crippling, which occurs in the bearing beam in the point of its embedding into the shaft lining at preserved standard geometric parameters of horizontal racks while being under the effect of frontal dynamic load caused by the cage, on its stressed-deformed state. It is shown that in the "bunton - guide" system with defect-free bunton, change of the point of force application practically does not lead to significant increase of stresses in concentration zones near the lining and under the guide. Besides, in case when rack is crippled near the lining (up to 0.5 m), contact load applied to the guide in the point of its fixing to the bunton also does not cause any significant increase of stresses in the concentrators. At the same time, contact force applied to the span of the guide, which, due to its bending, causes twisting of the bunton around the longitudinal axis, sharply changes stress-strain state of its horizontal bridges near the hole-defect: stress concentration is 1.5-1.8 times higher in comparison with the defect-free bunton. This fact shows that loss of the cross section in the double-T rack in the area with intensive inflow of aggressive water into the shafts with significant disturbances of the guide verticality, which cause increase of dynamic loads, is a very critical factor, which increases risk of spontaneous destruction of the bearing buntons and derailing of cage.
