Abstract. Fires in the deadlock making of large extent are one of most difficult tehhnogen accidentss in the plan of liquidation. Nearly 25% fires arising in such workings insulate, that results in violation terms of input in action new working horizons, preservation of the supplies of coal already prepared to the coulisse and losses of mine equipment. Complication of approach to the hearth of fire and organization of the stationary system of his extinguishing couse the necessity of development of mobile fire-extinguishing. For extinguishing of fires in the deadlock preparatory workings the automatic powder fire-extinguisher OPSH-20-B is offered. Basic advantages of the developed new construction of fire-extinguisher are: simplification of construction for lack of bulb and mechanism of destruction of his membrane; possibility of decline steel intensity of good; less laborious overcharging and possibility of permanent checking of pressure in the corps of fireextinguisher; promoted operative readiness of fire-extinguisher tofor work.
