Abstract. Objective of the research was to develop a strategy for rehabilitation of the territory of the former uranium-produced factory "The Pridneprovsky Chemical Plant". Radiation situation on the territory of the former uranium-produced factory "The Pridneprovsky Chemical Plant" (the PChP) and its tailing dumps was analysed. The current and future level of safety of each of the existing tailing dumps was considered. The main strategic objectives of the rehabilitation and development of the industrial site of the former PChP were formulated, and operational objectives for their realization were proposed. The SWOT-analysis of the industrial area of the former PChP was carried out, which allowed to identify strengths and weaknesses and to reveal opportunities and risks of use and development of the territory under consideration.
Keywords: strategy, rehabilitation, industrial sites, operational objectives, strategic objectives, SWOT-analysis.
