Abstract.

Important observations on the model of gas-dynamic phenomena in the coal mass are formulated basing on modern concepts of nonlinear nonequilibrium thermodynamics. It is shown that some parts of the zone (the cores) feature different rates of the structure changes and gas release in area of outburst during the collapse. According to the authors, basic information parameters (pressure, methane generation speed, etc.) become asymmetric in zone of the outburst evolution and can result in formation of small perturbations which can inhibit the process generally leading to the thermal exposure. Thus, in addition to external perturbations of natural and technogeneous character, small asymmetry of the core internal parameters can also cause starting the process of thermal explosion.
