Abstract.
Any changes in the rocks regulate temperature, pressure, tectonic movements. These factors cause some phased transformations in mineralogical composition of the sediments and certain fluid motions, which are accompanied by an emergence of new associations: spurrite-larnite. The petrographic studies of the middle carboniferous sandstones in north-eastern Donbas detected the spurrite which is not characteristic for the rocks of this coalfield. As larnite, the spurrite is a representative of a contact metamorphism. The larnite was registered by the X-ray structural method in the coal seam l1 after occurrence of the rock-gas mixture outburst in the south –west region – in Donetsk-Makeevka area. Conditions of these minerals formation is analyzed, and a hypothesis is proposed which explains formation and use of the minerals as indicators of metasomatic processes
