Abstract.

Subject of the research was simulation of pasty-pulp pressure flowing out from the pipeline when the pulp is forced out from the cylinder by a piston. Purpose of the research was to elaborate a method for estimating rheological parameters of the paste produced of cleaning rejects in the concrete ore-dressing and processing enterprise and, with the help of this method, to estimate dependence between hydraulic gradient and rate of the pulp velocity and concentration in the laboratory conditions. The paper describes a mathematical model of the process, a test bench for laboratory research, processing procedure and experimental results for the pastes produced from iron ore cleaning rejects at the Central Ore-Dressing and Processing Enterprise. The tests showed that rheological characteristic of these pastes was described by Bіngham-Shvedov law. For this law, dependences of initial shear stress and structural viscosity on the pulp concentration were first ever obtained.

Keywords:
