Abstract. Mine rock dumps are considered as man-made deposits in their content of certain valuable components. The saint with this actual knowledge of the properties is impounded in piles of rocks and their influence on the course of natural processes owls, in particular segregation.
Interdependence between the technology of mining, particle size distribution of the mine rock waste heap formation technology and the structure of the bulk solid was studied. A scheme to de-termine the distribution of particulate material by size and density of individual pieces of the mound. The problems of the development of waste heaps as the waste deposits. Indicated on the impact of separation processes on the angle of repose.
Key words: granulometric composition, segregation, technogeneous formations, loose material distribution by size, massif structure.
