Abstract. Object of the research was shock-wave processes in the strained anchor. Objective of the work was to validate informative parameters and design a facility for non-destructive quality control of the anchor setting in the rocks. A stand designed for simulating different rates of the anchor fixing is presented in the article. It is stated that the stronger is the anchor fixing the less is relaxation time for the free oscillations in the anchor (nonlinear dependence). Dependence between the mentioned values is approximately described by a polynomial of the third degree. An experimental model of the KWAK-2 apparatus was designed on the basis of this research. The apparatus contains electronic unit and two sensors for vibration registration. A structural diagram of the apparatus and operation of each of its units are presented. Results of the apparatus field tests conducted in the gypsum mine are presented basing on which a criterion was specified for evaluating quality of the expanding anchor setting in the tunnel.
Keywords: Keywords: anchor, fixing quality, non-destructive control, vibroacoustic method, apparatus.
