Abstract. By using the Lagrange equations in generalized coordinates, a dynamic model of drive for mine locomotive is created, which realizes tractive force in the contact point between the wheel and rail. Kinetic potential energy of a complex electromechanical system is determined. For the dependence, which reflects specificity of frictional contact of the wheel-rail pair for various operating conditions, an analytical model is proposed, which was created on the basis of the A.A. Rengevich experimental dependences. Formulation of the problem in this form makes it possible, with specific characteristics of the dynamic model, to solve the problems of choosing parameters for layout schemes and elasticdissipative constraints in the design of drives for the mine locomotives, as well as to estimate reserves for more intensive use of tractive force and to elaborate measures for their realization.
