Abstract. The improved method of calculation of hydrotransport parameters is suggested, which is generalized for the tubular hydrotransport with pipes made of different materials and hydrotransport with friction reducing agents. Both methods are considered as the most promising for hydraulic resistance reduction and make slurry thickening or plant pipeline elongation possible without installation of additional pumps. This method without loss of calculation accuracy can be used in analytical research of parameters and operating modes of the hydrotransport. With this method, traditional difficulties in determining the system operating point can be avoid due to specially elaborated approximation of discharge-head characteristic of centrifugal pumps, and it is possible to get analytical estimation of desired solution.
Keywords: hydrotransport parameters, polymeric pipes, friction reducing agents, centrifugal pumps, discharge-head characteristic.
