Abstract. In the article, the author proposes design of foam device assigned for cooling surface of the heat-protective suit for firefighters and mine rescuers during fire extinguishing in conditions of intense heat radiation. Using of foam cooling device in the heat-protective suit ensures integrity of the outer layer of the rescuer’s suit at long-term exposure to high temperatures, presence of sparks, glazes, splashes of burning liquid fuel and, at the same time, provides for rescuers comfortable working conditions under the suit.
