Abstract. Peculiarities of thetoxic and potentially toxic elements (TaPTE) distribution in the coal layer с10 в of the Stashkov Mine are considered in the article. Objective of the research is to determine regularities in the TaPTE distribution in the coal layer с10 в of the Stashkov Mine of Pavlograd-Petropavlovsk geological and industrial district in Donbass. As a result of the performed studies, maps of the TaPTE isoconcentrates and maps of regional constituent of thei regression between concentrations of toxic and potentially toxic elements and main technological parameters of coal were calculated. Analysis of the result of statistical processing of geochemical information and geological and structural characteristics of the layer с10 в of the Stashkov Mine field makes it possible to state that formation of the association of cobalt, nickel, vanadium, lead, chrome and manganese is connected with enrichment of contact zones of the coal layer by these elements and genetically occurs due to influence of adsorption and reductive-oxidative barriers on the migration of matter during the diagenesis and catagenesis of the coal-bearing series. It is concluded that beryllium is the only element, which is most associated with the organic constituent of coals. The association of mercury and arsenic occurs due to their genetic connection with the sulfide mineralization of fractured zones of tectonic nature. The main scientific importance of the findings is the established genetic causes that have a significant effect on the TaPTE distribution in coal layer of с10 в.

Key words: toxic and potentially toxic elements, coal layer, isoconcentrate maps, regional component maps, regression equation.
