Abstract. The problems of natural and technological factors influence on the ore-rock and filling massif stability, as well as rockfall manifestations during stopped excavation by high stopes of a thick ore deposit are considered. An analysis of the geological structure and distribution of fracture systems in the ore deposit and adjacent strata of Pivdenno-Bilozerske deposit in the places of filling massif and ore fall in the extraction space of the stopes is given. Distinctive zonation of the fracture intensity distribution which increases from the periphery to the middle of the southern wing in ―Hlavnaia‖ ore deposit was established. In the middle part of the deposit, along with horizontal area, increases the width of fracturing zones, which entails repetitive ore fall, rocks and a backfill located along a single minesurveying axis. It is recommended, in conditions of a highly fractured rock massif, to form the backfill massif in the finished stopes differentially, along with horizontal ore area changing the structural and rheological properties of the filling mixture in order to inject it into the crack system.

Keywords: thick ore deposit, stope, a backfill massif, rocks of a hanging wall and foot wall, crack system.
