Abstract. The article presents the results of research parameters of hydropulse influence during hydro-loosening of outburst coal seams and assessment of the safety of mining operations in the faces of preparatory workings by the system by the APSS-1 system and ZUA-98. Mining and experimental work was carried out in the mines of PJSC «Krasnodonugol». The results of the control and evaluation of the efficiency of hydro-loosening in the static and pulsed regime of fluid injection are given in this work. Also article shows the main provisions of the developed techniques and additions to the methods of acoustic control with the goal to their use in hydropulse exposure. It has been established that the application of the hydroimpulse exposure reduces the duration of the active stage of the hydro-loosening process, increase the safe coal excavation zone from 4 meters to the depth of drilling borehole. Also it eliminates the possibility of hydropending and GDP (gas dynamics phenomena) in the process of mountain event and during combine work in n the treated zone as evidenced by the data obtained.
