Abstract:
The article reviews history of the Department and presents the team’s findings in the following field: desorbing processes in the coal microstructure; wave and vibration actions; mathematical modeling of the linked processes of methane filtration and stress-strain state behavior in the rocks round the mine tunnels; physical modeling of the gasdynamic phenomena; and influencing of human factor on technological processes of the coal mining.
