Abstract.
Domestic and foreign designs of interlocks for the steel frame supports are analyzed. It is shown that their main drawbacks are associated with their mismatch to the requirements on support work resistance and yielding. Technical conditions are defined that ensure stability of basic parameters of the support operating characteristics. Classification of technical solutions on creation of interlocks for the steel supports is presented. Trends of the interlocks improvement for increasing efficiency of the tunnel supports and basic stages of these works are described. A new technical solution – the "ZSG" interlock of the screw-clamp type is presented which provides optimal working conditions for the "support - massif" system. The "ZSG" interlock principally differs from any other by its special bar - stabilizer. This interlock was successfully tested by bench and is recommended for the tests in mine. The technical solution was patented in Ukraine.
