METHODS AND HARDWARE FOR AUTOMATED COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF DATA ON THE STATE OF MINE VENTILATION SYSTEMS

Abstract.

 As it is stated in the article, a key characteristic of any ventilation system is debit of air knowing of which helps to create a mathematic model which could more exactly and fully reflect a real state of the ventilation network in the tunnels. The mathematic model should be actualized from time to time in order to increase effectiveness of making decisions on the ventilation network improvement. Methods (two of them designed by the IGTM, NANU, are shortly described in the article) applied for this purpose require fast reactivity and high accuracy of the information actualization which can be ensured only by up-to-date instrumentation. One of such instruments – a portable anemometer APR-2 designed by the IGTM, NANU - is presented in this article.
