Abstract. In this article described relevance of the production of methane from mine. Was calculated the volume of the methane concentration in the geoelectric anomalous zones coal rock mass in two ways by using geological data. Presented monitoring of the wells which were drilled from the surface to the reservoir i3 1 within the mine field mine office "Sukhodilskое-Vostochnое" JSC "Krasnodonugol" which confirmed the accuracy of one of the methods, made it possibility to evaluate the effectiveness of each well individually and in relation with each other.
