Abstract. Long-lasting operation of coalmines has caused destructive changes of environment components in the coal mining regions. Peculiarities and degree of technological coal-mining process influence on ecological state of adjacent territory were studied. The anthropogenic consequences of wet and dry methods of the coalmine liquidation are analyzed. It is proposed to determine consequences of the coalmine operation and liquidation by way of expert assessment based on 16 factors of man-caused impact on atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, soil and biota. Intensity of anthropogenic impact of coalmine operation and liquidation on the environment is recommended to determine by the three-point scale: 0 – no impact factor; 1 – minimum or indirect influence; 2 –recurring impact (direct or indirect); 3 – continuous direct impact. The results of expert assessment of ecological danger of coalmine operation and liquidation for the environment components are considered. The reasons for Pareto chart use for assessing anthropogenic consequences of coalmine operation and liquidation are substantiated.
Keywords: coal mine, operation, liquidation, ecological danger, assessment, Pareto chart.
