Abstract. Annotation. Main objective of the work was to substantiate mechanism of technogeneous earthquake occurrence in its connection with deep geological faults in the mining area, as well as to forecast time of the next earthquake in order to formulate strategies and to decrease its intensity. İn this regard, models of nonequilibrium state of the fault blocks were studied and developed with taking into account mining objects located on them and direction of the rock transportation. İt is shown that when rock mass is moved from one fault block to another center of gravity is shifted, hence, leading to the fault block nonequilibrium state and occurrence of deformation. İn this work, realtime forecast of the next technogeneous earthquake was made on the basis of analysis of previous earthquake data. Also, it is for the first time when mechanism of technogeneous earthquakes is explained in its connection with deep geological faults, which occur in the mining areas. İn addition, effective recommendations on reducing intensity of earthquakes were prepared. Further, the method of earthquake prediction was developed, which takes into account volume of extracted and transported rock mass and geological fault depth.
Keywords: Keywords: fault block, nonequilibrium state, torque, displacement, technogeneous earthquake, prediction, intensity reduce
