Language: Russian

Abstract. Purpose of the study is to develop and justify target function for optimizing operation modes of the belt conveyor by energetic effectiveness criterion. Object of the study: energy consumption process during transportation of loose cargo by the belt conveyor with adjustable drive. Subject of the study: to validate parameters (design variables), which mostly affect the energy consumption, and to develop mathematical model of the target function with taking into account these parameters. The article shows dependence of the target function for optimizing operation modes of the belt conveyor with adjustable drive on the design parameters of electrical and mechanical components of the conveyor and technology of cargo transportation.

Problem of establishing dependence between indexes of specific power consumption for the belt conveyor and load capacity of the belt by it input capacity was solved on the example of operation of the belt conveyor with no external belt-speed adjustment. Results of the research will be useful while choosing and designing adjustable drive for the mining industry, creating theoretical basis for justifying structure, parameters and space while designing adjustable drives, for solving problems while creating belt conveyors of advanced technical level with improved efficiency of their operation.

Keywords: specific energy consumption, target function belt load, drive load, efficiency, speed control.
